ASPL Utility & Reinstatement Services Potable water pipelines - ASPL have sub-contractors fully qualified in all aspects of PE welding. We also understand the importance of quality within the pipeline, which is ultimately tested within the pressure testing of PE mains. ASPL prides itself in never having a failure in the last 4 years trading. All PE fusion and butt fusion tickets are held for fittings ranging from 90mm to 500mm. We can also offer a full build pack which includes consultation, design, procurement and installation/commissioning of the asset. Customers are liable for maintaining and repairing pipes which link their homes to the boundary of their property, so that when the pipes collapse or burst ASPL offers a one stop solution. Work is undertaken on a competitive fee basis. Pipework repairs and replacement, new private mains, fire mains and hydrants, sliplining, pipe bursting, no dig moling, directional drilling etc.. Sewerage pipelines - ASPL can offer all type of sewerage replacement techniques. ASPL is a preferred contractor for Severn Trent Water Plc, we have been working on the R&M contract for the last 3 years via North Midlands Construction. We can also lay clay, ductile iron and PVC pipelines. Again, all staff are qualified and experienced. Sewerage connections/disconnections - We have been carrying out sewerage connections for new build properties for the last two years. Risk assessments and method statements can be produced for approval with the asset owner before works begin. Labour Only - ASPL has around 30-40 subcontractors working on behalf of it most of the year round. We only hire workers with a minimum of CSCS H&S or CPCS equivalent qualification. The CPCS workforce includes telehandlers, <>10 ton 360° tracked machine operators, Dumper drivers, telehandlers etc.. The CSCS workforce includes L2 NVQ drainage installation workers, L2 NVQ general building and construction qualifications etc.. We currently provide labour only to Norwest Holst, Jackson's Civil Engineering, SKANSKA Construction UK, North Midlands Construction, P C Harrington Ltd. Surface Reinstatements - All men are NRASWA certified to lay hot or cold lay bitumous materials, as well as block paving, or rigid surfaces (concreting). Private
drainage issues/repairs - Pipework which is normally located
below the ground surface remains unnoticed until a problem arises.
This could be a simple blockage and easily cleared, or potentially a
greater problem such as a damaged or leaking pipeline.
